1.  Wheat and You!

Wheat is the basis of one of the most abundant and problematic food groups.  It may be the single largest contributor to bacterial or fungal dysbiosis, leaky gut syndrome, and universal food allergies. Most people can only assimilate a small amount of wheat as PART of their diet. but wheat/grain  now forms the MAJOR part of our western/industrialized diet. I’m firmly convinced that wheat and corn should not be considered staples, but rather decadent desserts.

 Gluten and its derivatives  are found  in Wheat/Grain/Starch. This includes wheat’s “sister” grains  –  rye, oats and barley.

In a normal digestive tract the over-consumption of  wheat may contributes to bacterial or fungal dysbiosis. The Histamine in wine

While Histamine is associated with Allergies, Immune disorders and Inflammatory response it has a kinder side as well.

Histamine, a neurotransmitter, is a modulator of  immune response and  the primary mediator of  inflammatory response. It is a substance released by injured cells that causes blood vessels to dilate during an inflammatory response. It is also a potent spasmogen of smooth muscle. For example, release of histamine causes contraction of the smooth muscle lining of our air passages that can trigger an asthma attack.

When our adrenal glands are working properly they release cortisol to limit the inflammation  to a level that is  necessary for immediate tissue repair.  They do this by blocking the effects of histamine that is released by damaged cells which brings more blood flow to the area. Histamine alerts the body to release cortisol as a healing response. Undigested and fermented food causes the body to raise histamine levels, which  can produce  an allergic reaction. We know that histamine is associated with the symptoms of an allergic reaction such as a runny nose, itchy eyes, and sneezing.

As Vitamin C rids the body of excess histamine it would be reasonable to assume that people who have a continued presence or increased levels of histamine are either not getting enough Vitamin C  with food  or supplementation or they are allergic to it.   In  many cases,  both  scenarios are probable.  Magnesium has also been found to reduce histamine levels.

A dehydrated body will also release histamine together  with prostaglandins and kinins. The immune system is said to learn by experience. It is completely unlike the heart, liver, kidneys, spleen or pancreas which already knows what to do at the moment of birth.  Rather,  the immune system is much more like the brain as it needs to learn how to respond to the various agents that threaten its survival.

We are not born with the ability to talk, walk, read, write or do math. While we can see and hear, we know not what we are looking at, nor what it is we are listening to. At that stage in our development we are capable of  eating, which at birth is actually a reflex, eliminating and sleeping.  Our environment, and the experiences it brings  us, mold us hour by hour, day by day. It takes us 10-13 years to develop the cognitive ability to perform abstract thinking (Piaget).

While we are in Kindergarten, Grade school, Junior and Senior High School so is our immune system. As we age we are exposed to infectious agents.    Our immune system learns what is anti-genetic and also learns that there is something it needs to create an antigen for.  That something  is not part of our body.

It creates antigens to mark a foreign substance so it can remember it should that substance appear again later in our lives. This may be a wholly unsatisfactory way of doing things.  Considering the overall sophistication of all the other body systems, one has to ask why the immune system is the one  system in the body most prone to errors, mistakes, confusion and plain stupidity?

Is it possible that the immune system is dysfunctional in the first place?  Is it possible that there is something that immediately interferes with its ability to operate effectively and efficiently. This malfunction  could occur because the immune system is unable to connect to its database. It should already know who most, if not all of the players are. Its  been exposed to the majority of them for generations. This information would be passed on through the DNA, chromosomes and genes. It appears however, that the slate was wiped clean. Just as we are born with no motor skills only reflexes;  no ability to talk, walk or feed ourselves, the immune system seems to mimic this pattern. Maybe there is  something else going on.

Our environment has changed dramatically over the last 50-75 years. There are a tremendous number of biologically toxic agents present that never existed before. Previous immune systems  could never have cataloged these substances. These substances are not in the database. We have  also created a large assortment of vaccines that are immediately given to newborns. Newborns,  who don’t have an active immune system that can deal with the mercury, formaldehyde, aluminum hydroxide and other agents these vaccines contain.

Our immune system is easily tricked by what’s referred to as ’molecular mimicry’.  Its as though our immune system is being  invaded by a foreign power. First it is infiltrated by spies and double agents who interfere with, and cut off communications.  Because they are then unable to communicate properly with their troops, the T-cells of the immune system become vulnerable to sabotage in the form of  coded messages that viruses, bacterias and other agents specifically engineer to take over the system.

Autoimmune diseases occur when our immune cells are tricked into seeing our own tissue as an invader. For reasons we shall examine, our immune cells are easily confused and overwhelmed. They don’t respond appropriately when confronted with common invaders such as heavy metals, chemotoxins or infectious agents such as viruses or bacteria.

These cases of mistaken identity are occurring more and more often. When a person develops an autoimmune disease they often are often susceptible to others.   For many people,  a viral infection acts to trigger an AI response that had previously been dormant for years.

In multiple sclerosis the immune system attacks the myelin sheaths that surround and are meant to insulate and protect the nerves. A viral outbreak of childhood measles appears to increase one’s risk of developing MS.

A large percentage of those who contract Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) or Lupus had a previous viral infection that acted as a trigger. The trigger leads to a case of mistaken identity in which auto-antibodies form as a reaction to the infection.   These antibodies are literally  ”antibodies against self.”

Diabetes is an AI disease where the immune system attacks the pancreas cells that make insulin. An enterovirus known as coxsackie B may trigger childhood diabetes.  DNA Reprogramming to clear for coxsackie B could remove its triggering effect enabling the pancreas to heal and restore normal insulin production.

I find it odd that the immune system is so easily duped and so easily persuaded into attacking the body it’s meant to protect. Whatever is  compromising the immune system early on in our development is making it far more susceptible to its making large errors in identifying the good guys from the bad.

There must be a reason that the part of our immune system that differentiates between who we are and who they are so easily runs amok. Perhaps something causes it to go askew very early on and this makes it much more vulnerable and perhaps more able to produce the massive errors in identity. It may be possible to reset the immune system so it won’t be tricked  into believing that something is us when it most certainly isn’t.

One heavy metal that plays a major role in destroying our immunity and setting the stage for successful autoimmune attacks is mercury.

While we may not be aware of it vast quantities of mercury are being released into the general environment every day. One of the primary sources is coal fired power plants as well as byproducts from the use of coal in any heated form. Those effluent clouds billowing out of smoke stacks deposit mercury on land and water up to a radius of a hundred miles.

Mercury polluted rain or acid rain contaminate the environment – the land, the water and plants and animals that we consume for food.

Our first exposure to mercury, via vaccinations,  happened when we were  babies with a completely in viable immune system. Those vaccines also contained formaldehyde and aluminum hydroxide.  Each of these substances is known to affect development and damage DNA.

Kenneth M. Pollard of Scripps in San Diego is very knowledgeable about the detrimental effects of mercury on genetics and its contribution to autoimmune disease.  Mercury is really only one of a group of agents he calls xenobiotics.

Our exposure to mercury starts with vaccinations.  Cavities are still being filled with mercury laden fillings that leech into the body damaging the kidneys. Mercury has been tied directly to an increased risk of scleroderma.

Fish contain methyl mercury. This form of mercury likes to attack the central nervous system where it wreaks havoc inducing a variety of autoimmune reactions.

In a bizarre twist of nature mercury reacts with proteins in our body. It changes their structure and thus their function. Worse yet this results in the creation of an entirely new complex, part heavy metal, part body tissue. This half-human, half heavy-metal complex is wholly foreign to our bodies. This is scientifically well documented and rather disturbing.

With ever increasing exposure to mercury from far too many sources our vulnerability increases and we are being mutated into beings our bodies are unable to recognize or live with.  A body that is actually killing itself.

Asthma and allergy levels have increased nearly 75% between 1980 and 1996. The fact that allergies and autoimmune diseases are rising in tandem at alarming rates may give credence to my hypothesis.

The mechanism behind allergies and AI disease is remarkably similar.  Both are the result of an inappropriately over responsive and hypersensitive immune system which is reacting to substances that  the immune system cannot recognize.

An allergic reaction occurs when the immune system thinks a normal substance, such as a food, is instead a foreign invader. IgE is released followed by histamine and various cytokines – all meant to protect the body. This response is easily seen in people with Celiac disease or what I view as an advanced gluten allergy secondary to a yeast-fungal infection.

Gluten is only one of many substances that trigger an autoimmune response in a digestive tract that is being overwhelmed by a heavy burden of mycotoxins being generated by yeast. This burden is increasing due to our exposure to literally hundreds of chemicals that have been created over the past 50-75 years.

In allergies, the immune system begins reacting to substances that would normally be harmless. Thus I view auto-immune (AI) diseases as allergies too as  in an AI disease,  the substance that is normally harmless is our own body tissue – yet,  our immune system DOES NOT KNOW THIS.

Nononcogenic types HPV 6 and 11 also contribute to the overall burden of HPV disease, giving rise to warts, lesions, and respiratory papillomatosis.
